Unfortunately for my loving family, they get to be my subjects for all my photography "practice." Thankfully Elliot is easily bribed and his grumpy faces are just as cute as his smiles! No Jaxon...he was the happy one sitting in the stroller so Miles got to be held and photographed. I wish there was 2 of me just for this occasion.

KELSAY FARM

Our annual trip to Kelsay Farms was a hit again. Elliot's favorite part was getting licked by the big cows. He really wanted to see how they were milked, but it was closed that day. We got to see it last year and apparently it really stuck out in his mind. It did me too...a long row of cows on both sides with their butts facing right at you hooked up to a milking machine. It was kinda creepy.
Love the fall. Love my family!

Family Pictures

As a last minute surprise we got to have Erin visit us for a couple days! We were so excited! Elliot was sad that her boys didn't tag along, but loved having Erin here. Of course we had to take advantage of her photog skills and snap some shots at the apple orchard. Pictures are always a little stressful, but we got some cute shots so it was all worth it!

Fun summer in Utah

Not only did we have fun in Utah, we got a lot accomplished while there too.

(in no particular order)

1. Twins learned to sit up unassisted

2. Jaxon crawled on his grandpa's birthday 8/23/11

3. Twins got tubes put in their ears

4. I had a manipulation procedure done on my knee

5. Endured therapy for my knee everyday

6. Ran into TONS of old college and high school friends! 

7. Went to my 10 year High School reunion

8. J.R. got to record for the Sun Valley christmas CD.

9. J.R. and the Rushtons visited Zions. Sad we've lived in Ut our whole lives and haven't been there before.

10. Saw 4 AMAZING musicals. Cried my eyes out watching my siblings rock my socks off on stage. They are amazing!!! All the theater I got to see really did my theatrical heart good. It filled me up and made me miss being on stage BAD! 

11. Bonded with my families. Cried, laughed, supported, relieved, played! Had a blast!

It was a wild 4 weeks. Busy busy busy! Rarely a dull moment. I was pretty lame when it came to taking pictures. I sorta had my hands full...no room for a camera. Here is a few of my favs though.
