Elliot has been having major fear issues with tornados and earth quakes....but mostly tornados. It seems like earth quakes are sort of an after thought.
Here is a recap from the past few nights of prayers...
9-11-12:
"Heavenly Father please keep tornados off our world. Please power then away to another planet (Whispered: mom, can he power them off our planet? Me: yes, Heavenly Father can do anything) Okay then power them away. Keep earth shakes off our world too." In the name of Jesus Christ amen.
9-13-12:
"Heavenly Father, please don't let a tornado come to our world. If you see one come to Indiana, I'll be wearing a blue shirt so you can find me. Keep us safe from earth shakes too." In the name ......
He's been watching a lot of Wizard of Oz lately. I think between that and the stormy weather we've had lately he's a little fixated on tornados. He asks lots of questions and is constantly making plans just in case one does come. But the good thing is he's very reassured when we tell him Heavenly Father will watch over him and keep him safe. Also that I have a weather alarm on my phone to tell us if a tornado is near.
Sure love this little boy and his fun imagination. Luckily, the fear it's not affecting his sleep. :)
