Sun Valley visitors

We were so excited to have Sarah and Glen come visit us in Sun Valley! It was so much fun! One of the days we took the lift up to the top and took sweet pics! The boys had been skiing all day...unfortunatly it hadn't snowed a ton yet so only half the mountain was open, but because of that it was only half the price for Glen to ski -Yay!

What a fun trip and AWESOME friends! Love you guys. Let's do it again!

New costumes - I feel like a big strawberry in all red, but in the whole group it's very christmasy

A wild christmas eve

This is just a taste of the energy that was happening Christmas eve. Once again, no working photo camera...just bare with me.

A little SV snow fall

And by "little SV snow fall" I mean A MAJOR Sun Valley BLIZZARD! It started christmas eve and didn't stop till about 2 days later. This is Sharli's car we decided not to dig out. Too much work and no man power. (it is still covered today and it has been snowing on and off every day so it's going to be crazy. I'll take another pic later) It did make for a Beautiful christmas eve ice show.

Unfortunatly J.R. and I don't have a working camera so we have to wait for other people to hook us up with more SV pics. More to come...

Snow Fun!

Just having a little fun in grandma and grandpa's back yard! Hooray it finally snowed!

Elliot couldn't get enough of the sledding. He loved it. The hill was just his size!
Merry Christmas!

Santa Clause's Party

This is us by the beautiful tree at T.J.'s musical "A North Pole Christmas." Elliot loved it but wanted so bad to get on the stage and dance with them that we only lasted through the first half of the show. It was AWESOME! Cute elves, funny jokes, good holiday feeling!
Ya'll should try to get over and see it. You'll love it.

Can you tell this kid likes to dance? He has learned to turn in circles and this clip highlights the new trick nicely. It's hillarious watching him get dizzy. What a cute kid!

A little mall shopping

More pics for daddy that is so far away. We miss you daddy!!
ps: yes, this was the day after thanksgiving. We must be crazy!

Terrible pic, I know. But I knew J.R. would love it.

Not quite sure, but getting warmer and warmer all the time.

A Grandpa's Love

It is so sweet to me how these two communicate. Elliot has such a sweet bond with his Gpa. He loves waking up and making a stop to chill with papa before he gets up. He'll randomly wander in to see gpa and give him a wave hello until gpa waves back. They also like to blink at each other and Elliot give great hugs. Not to mention the cool beep buttons on his chair. Kids just know how to give love without any judgements. I wish I could be more like Elliot!
Love you Grandpa!!

FOOD FOOD FOOD

We had a great day. Spent the morning preparing the fixin's and pretty much ate the rest of the day long! We especially enjoyed playing "fat dog" after dinner :-) Cheers to a grateful thanksgiving...and counting my blessings... 1. Loving husband 2. Sweet son 3. Great family 4. Giving and loving parents 5. Cool as can be siblings 6. Beautiful house 7. Running car 8. Awesome job 9. Sweet friends 10. Membership in the only true church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Elliot loves his Papa!

Lovin on his Papa
(This is a frequent thing. He loves sitting with Gpa and giving loves)

Not sure why, but Gpa really wanted to mash the potatoes. What a funny guy!

Sweat bands & Swimming Pools

We had a great day! Elliot loved the pool even though they closed early the day before Thanksgiving and we only got to play for about 45 min. He loved the swimming wings because they gave him a little independence. We'll be back soon I'm sure.

Elliot found that sweat band and left it on all day. What a stud!
(We miss you Daddy!)

Fun Park

Everyone has been so busy getting the christmas show going that I took Elliot and his two cousins to the Fun Park. They had a great time climbing and wrestling and being wild boys!

Cart & Elliot

Notice Elliot being mauled by Carter. This is the usual, but I think Elliot loves the attention!

He had no fear going down the big slides. Like a champ!

Cute face!

Twilight Madness!!

EXCELLENT!!
These are my twilight fanatic buddies! We just had to go out and get t-shirts to show our excitment!
The movie ROCKED my expectations. The only thing was it went WAY too quickly! It moved from chapter to chapter so quick I wanted it to SLOW down. It ended fast, but had a great lead-in to the next book!
The characters were awesome! I loved Edward and Bella was super cute! All the Cullens were perfect; characters, looks, everything...I really loved it! ps: Jacob is a Hottie! If you haven't read the books, NOW is the time! The movie was great, but nothing beats an intense book where you can't seem to read fast enough.
HOORAY for Stephanie Meyer! Thanks for such sweet entertainment!

Ty had to sit in front of me...it was packed and the only way to not sit in the front row was to sit in front of each other. Oh well. Can you tell we're excited?

Erin, me, Shar, Ty

This is Kenz as our prey!

We are trying to be sexy vampires...

hmmm...I guess we should work on that a bit

The holiday's have begun!

This is the earliest we have EVER hung christmas lights. I figured since I'm taking off to Utah so early this year we really needed to get a jump start on our Ohio holiday mood. Our neighbors probably think we're crazy, but we love it.
Merry Christmas everyone!!!

so many lights, such little time!

Cosi fun!

Erin, I'm sure these will bring back Ohio memories. I remember the first time I went to Cosi with you and Carter. That seemed like FOREVER ago.
Anyway, we had a great time and I got a membership so I'm sure this won't be our last time. Anyone else have a membership that wants someone to go with, just give me a call.

While Elliot was petting this turtle we said (like we always do with random things) "say Turtle" and what does he do? He says TURTLE. Wow, we were shocked! It was awesome. He's going to be talking like a crazy kid anyday now. I'm so proud! as I wipe a tear off my cheek

Helmet Head

I'm not sure why Elliot thinks it's okay to stand on the dishwasher or why J.R. ran for the camera instead of the child when he did get on (dishwasher replacement=$ alot of money, Funny pictures of your kid about to break the dishwasher= priceless) but I guess we have some cute pics and the dishwasher survived so we're okay.
Elliot decided he wanted to wear his helmet around today. Such a goofy kid. He really has a mind of his own now and sometimes it is hillarious!!

(the pics posted in reverse order - hummm...)

Babies growing from trees?

Elliot and Logan played at the park the other day. We could have been in shorts it was so warm. Crazy fall weather!
While we were there a deer came out of the woods to look at us. We were so close (about a car length away) it probably would have walked right up to us. The kids started running toward it and it didn't even move. Finally a dog came around the corner and scared it off. I ran to the car to get my camera in case it came back and of course it didn't but I got cute pics of the boys anyway.

Logan loves lying in the leaves, Elliot hates it.

Is that a Elliot bud springing out of that tree? I wonder if the fruit is tasty?
(it is...I've tried it!!!)
